#Celaya, #Gto.- The president of the board of trustees of the System for the Integral Development of the Family of Celaya, Rosa María María Suárez de Mendoza and the general director, María del Carmen Núñez Mares visited the Casa del Niño Pobre in order to deliver blankets and blankets, in favor of the children who are cared for in the place.

«This visit is made in order to know the work that is done for children and see how DIF joins with donations, we know that there are many causes that must be addressed, but certainly the sum of efforts, always makes the result is better».

«I appreciate the work of all the sisters who collaborate, since they generate a safe space for the growth and healthy development of girls and boys,» said Mrs. Rosita.

The construction of the poor children’s home began in 1985 and it started operating in 1994.

The services provided by the institution in general are: safeguarding and sheltering minors at risk; this means offering them what they need to overcome the events of violence they have suffered, which is the reason why they are in the house.

The children have suffered some kind of violence, including violence to their human rights; they are also there because of their parents’ failure to take care of them, because of some legal process they are facing or family disintegration, among other causes.
